Bio:
Born in San Francisco, CA, Marc Reagan began his journey in makeup artistry as a college student, finding a home for his visual art training at a beauty counter at his local Nordstrom. Makeup became a pathway for both artistry and connection. After graduating with a Fine Arts degree, he pursued a career in his newfound passion, and began working for Bobbi Brown Cosmetics in 2004. His dedication to makeup artistry and meeting clients’ needs helped him grow into domestic and global artistry roles at the brand. One of his most important roles was acting as one of Bobbi Brown’s makeup assistants — learning the art of revealing a person’s natural beauty firsthand from Bobbi herself. This approach — revealing, enhancing, and defining individual beauty — has become the foundation of Marc’s signature style and makeup philosophy. Marc has over 17 years of makeup artistry experience including Global Director of Artistry roles at both Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, during his 14-year tenure, and now approaching three years at Hourglass Cosmetics. His passion to teach and share knowledge can be seen in his YouTube tutorials for the brands, which have received millions of views. In his current role, Marc continues to develop and elevate the skills and techniques of others, while simultaneously leveraging his expertise for global brand strategies, educational programs, and product development. Marc has been the lead makeup artist for numerous New York Fashion Week and Bridal shows, keying for Elie Tahari, Veronica Beard, WHiT and Marchesa, to name a few. His editorial work has been featured in top magazines and newspapers, including Time Magazine, New York Times’ T Magazine, Red UK, Et Rouge Japan, USA Today and EIIe Taiwan. And he has shared his insights on beauty and makeup trends in the Huffington Post, Cosmopolitan, Allure, Essence, Harper’s Bazaar Saudi Arabia, Coveteur, Refinery29, and more. Most importantly, Marc works with celebrities, influencers, and everyday people, helping them to look and feel their best. Marc currently resides in the Hudson Valley, NY.
