Marissa Marino started her career at 21 years old as Ken Paves’ first assistant, where she received invaluable training in everything from coloring and styling wigs to how to thrive under pressure. The international perspective she gained while traveling the world for showcases informed her practice, and some of her earliest clients were recognizable names like Eva Longoria, Victoria Beckham and Ashlee Simpson. She has a knack for understanding exactly what her clients want and delivering beyond their expectations. For nine years, she worked at the acclaimed Nine Zero One salon in West Hollywood where she cut colored and applied extensions, and was responsible for setting many trends in the hair industry. In 2013, Marissa took a break from salon life and joined Selena Gomez for her Stars Dance World Tour, and then again in 2016 for her Revival Tour, where she styled Selena’s hair for nightly performances. She also contributes to high-profile red carpet events, editorial shoots and music videos. In 2020 she was awarded Hairstylist of the Year at the Hollywood Beauty Awards. Currently she is the Brand Ambassador for Waterless Haircare and works with celebrity’s such as Selena Gomez, Olivia Holt, Anna Camp, Dove Cameron, Jessie James Decker, Meghann Fahy, Marina Diamandis and many more.
